“A big kid at heart who loves Jesus Christ!” Perhaps that’s the best way Pastor Phil would describe himself. He not only loves Jesus but also has a desire to ensure that the flock is ministered to and cared for.
Pastor Phil grew up in Rochester, NY where as a young adult he came to know Christ as his Savior. After graduating from Zion Bible Institute in 1991, he married his precious bride, Summer Davis Maenza (a native of Waverly). They came to The Valley in the mid 1990’s where Pastor Phil pastored for 10 years. He joined Greater Valley Assembly as its children’s pastor in January 2012. In 2022, he transitioned to our Visitation and Care Pastor. Phil and Summer have four adult children; three wonderful sons and a beautiful daughter.
